Argonite Inert Gas Suppression Systems

The Argonite system has been developed as a viable but environmentally friendly alternative to Halon. Tested and approved by regulatory bodies throughout the world, Argonite is effective against fires in almost all combustible materials and flammable liquids and is particularly suitable for use in areas where the use of water, foam or powder would be unacceptable.


Argonite systems are ideally suited to the protection of fixed equipment and plant. They are particularly applicable for high value risks where fires can have devastating consequences way beyond the cost of damage and lost production.

Kitchen Fire Suppression

These systems are designed specifically for the food an restaurant business, cooker hobs and deep fat fires are an obvious place for a fire to start in a canteen, hotel, restaurant or any place which involves regular cooking in a professional kitchen.

A kitchen fire suppression system works by detecting the fire automatically from fuseable heat links or releasing manually by a pull cord or break glass, a wet chemical agent is then released from nozzles in the canopy, cooker hood or above the risk to extinguish the fire with immediate effect.

The clean up process is easy and straight forward ensuring minimum down time, the wet chemical agent does not harm stainless steel.

Additional safety is guaranteed by closing dampers in the extract system to avoid the fire spreading to other areas.
